to all soliders everywhere
For honor they tell me
Yet they have none
They tell us fight
Yet they don’t fight
Who are they to choose?
War or peace
They say they control the world
Yet without us the solider
They are powerless
They need us
But we don’t need them
Poor politicians
They truly don’t understand
They do not feel for us
The men and women who suffer for them
They will never understand
Unless they serve side by side with us
We who die and parish
They will never know the true meaning
The meaning of our work
Our lives
Yet I willingly put myself on their alter
In hopes of making a change
Pray for us the ones who fight.
