As we are the children of the future, we sometimes forget that we wouldn't be if it were not for those children who died in the past. Every side has there hero's but this day I choose to salute all who have died for their countries.

To the wars of the Bronze Age to the modern age soldiers have defended the freedoms of their home lands both foreign and domestic. We shall honor them. Why? Because it’s right that we do so and we must always remember the fallen so without further a due I will name some great battles and wars we should always remember throughout time.

 Battle of Thermopylae

Battle of waterloo

Lexington and Concord

Battle of Yorktown

The Alamo and Goliad

Gettysburg

World War 1

The armistice line

The battle of Britain

D day

There are so many I could name but now it history.
